Once you receive your CellAED^®, a monthly $17* support fee will cover remote monitoring to ensure your CellAED^® is ready for use. This means:

No additional internet connection costs.
Your CellAED^® arrives already connected, and stays connected as long as it’s in-range of any cellular signal.
No need to manually monitor and maintain your device. We do it all for you, giving you worry-free confidence.
No need to replace parts, unlike other AEDs – saving you hundreds each year.
We’ll notify you if the shelf-life is near exceeding and arrange to have a replacement sent to you.
We’ll automatically replace it if you use it to treat a verified sudden cardiac arrest event.

When can I expect to receive my CellAED^®?

We anticipate deliveries of CellAED^® will be available from: August, 2022.

Can you fast-track my order?

Due to the supply chain shortage impacting global manufacturing, we’re not currently accepting requests for fast-tracked CellAED^® orders. If you’ve pre-ordered, we’ll automatically keep you informed on your CellAED^® delivery timing – so it’s important to keep your contact details up to date. You can update your details at any time via email [email protected]

How will I know when my CellAED^® is on its way?

We’ll contact you via email at least a month before delivery is available and give you the opportunity to confirm your order and pay the balance if required.

In the meantime, we’ll be staying in touch with information on how you can be prepared to respond effectively to sudden cardiac arrest, and other related topics.

How do I update my personal details?

Changing your address, payment or other personal details registered with us is easy. Simply contact us via email [email protected].

Will I need to recharge my CellAED^®?

No. Your CellAED^® comes with a non-rechargeable battery and will arrive pre-charged.

What is the shelf life?

The approved shelf life of CellAED^® is currently 13 months.

Included in the optional CellAED for life^TM support and replacement service we’ll remotely monitor your CellAED^® and notify you if the shelf-life is near exceeding. We’ll then arrange to have the latest model replacement sent to you at no additional charge. At time of confirming your order we’ll share more information about this optional service, so you can choose to upgrade. If you choose not to opt in, it will be time to replace your CellAED^® when you observe the green LED change to amber or at the expiry date, whichever comes sooner.

Will I need to connect my CellAED^®? to a network?

No. Your CellAED^® will automatically attempt to connect to a cellular network every 30 days to record the ambient temperature, battery status and location. Your CellAED^® functioning as an automated external defibrillator (AED) is unaffected.

Will I need replacement parts or servicing for my CellAED^®?

No. CellAED^® is a fully integrated product designed to work without needing to worry about replacing parts like battery or gel pads.

Can I buy CellAED^® if I live outside New Zealand?

CellAED^® is currently approved for use in countries within the UK, European Economic Area, Australia and New Zealand.
